Lovely day

Yesterday we had a lovely day.  Girls went off to woodland skills to chop down trees and plant new ones.  I went off for a coffee with a friend and Jonathan and Martin went off for some secret shopping and disguising of gifts!

When we regrouped we decided to have a look at the Nature Detectives advent calendar and go out to the woods by the cycle path to do the first activity.

We collected items of interest bound them together with string and wore them on our coat buttons on the way home.

Then we decided we’d scrap book about it.  Scrap booking what we do is always what I plan to do and we rarely get round to it.   As a consequence we always have a huge pile of things waiting to be scrap booked.  Today I decided not to do past stuff and just get on with today’s so here is Jonathan doing the scrap-booking about his walk.

Then he carried on with his jigsaw that we bought in Lidl a couple of days ago.  He has done really well with it and done it all himself.
